Someone told me that once you make one handbag, you become addicted and you can't stop. I'm beginning to believe it!I decided to try making a bag out of microsuede. It feels so soft and looks like leather. It's a little harder to sew, but it wasn't too bad. The animal print has a subtle metallic gold running through it. And the black part is shiny. I like the way it turned out.
Except the bag is a little too small for all the stuff that I carry. This seems to be a problem of mine. I guess I need to try carrying less stuff. But its like throwing things away. Every time I get into a cleaning fit and toss things, I want them later! So, I try to carry less in my bag, but....
Matt said this bag looks like something I could have bought in a store. I think he meant it as a compliment, but I want the bags I make to be more special than something I could buy at Target. Maybe if I add rhinestones or something.
Well, I'm already cutting out another purse. Help...I'm addicted!
